Shortly after WWI, Phillip Polito opened his first Pizzeria in a small Italian neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York. His secret family recipe helped spark America's love affair with pizza and set the standard for the famous "New York tomato pie."
Today, Polito’s Pizza still uses "Philly's" secret family recipe along with the best Italian meats and cheeses available on the market. Our pride in creating the best pizza possible gives Polito's that authentic Old World taste with a New World twist that's sure to please.

Polito's Pizza was established in Stevens Point, Wisconsin on July 07, 2007. The Polito family, with their long history in the restaurant business, brought their knowledge of pizza to central Wisconsin and filled a niche that the Midwest had been lacking for a long time. Pizza by the slice had always been a big hit on the east coast, but it wasn't until recently that the idea started creeping its way towards the heart of America. Just three short years after the original Polito's started tossing out pies, three more pizzerias were opened in strategic locations around the state of Wisconsin. To keep up with the growing fan base that Polito's Pizza began to acquire, the Polito family knew they had to duplicate the food quality, customer service, and overall high-energy atmosphere that kept the Stevens Point location bringing customers back for more.
Oshkosh was next on the list, and Polito's Pizza proved to be a big hit there as well. It wasn't until long that the Wausau and La Crosse stores would start turning out pizzas and building the same loyal following that the first two stores shared.
Our system for success starts first from within and works its way out to our amazing customers and finally to the communities that support us. We treat all of our workers like family and build a strong personal relationship with each and every one of them. Our wonderful staff is a huge reason that we were able to grow so quickly without sacrificing service or quality. We've had so many fantastic employees come through our doors that one store was just not enough to handle all the greatness; so as one would expect, we had to open more stores in order to hang on to these people. Every one of our General Managers started with us at our original location in Stevens Point. They learned the business from the bottom up, and were eager to advance through the ranks of our "family". Each of our managers has the opportunity to own a percentage of the store they run, giving them a sense of pride and loyalty to that store and creating healthy competition between the four branches. Not only is our crew a very tight-knit group, but the sense of loyalty that is given to our name and our product is unlike any other I've experienced anywhere.
At Polito's Pizza we have a customer service code that we take very seriously. If you're not good with customers, then you won't fit in here. We like to get to know our patrons on a personal basis, and make sure every one of their experiences here are everything they expected and more. We also believe that giving back to the community is much more important than making an extra buck, and will do anything within our means to support local sports teams, youth groups, and charities.
Polito's Pizza is unlike any other. Our pride in every aspect of the business is what sets us apart from the rest. This is probably why people are practically knocking down our door for the chance to duplicate our product and franchise the Polito's name. Though we are still fairly new in the pizza world, our continued success and proven system are prime factors that will keep us growing at the same pace in years to come. If the time and place is right to start franchising our system, we won't look past it. One thing will never change though; our customer service and product quality will always remain one step above the rest. Until then, we'll keep the pies flying high.
