About the Polito's
When the Polito family left their native home of Sicily for the New World they brought with them their intense passion and knowledge for creating only the best pizza pies.
Shortly after WWI, Phillip Polito opened his first Pizzeria in a small Italian neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York. His secret family recipe helped spark America’s love affair with pizza and set the standard for the famous “New York tomato pie”.
Today, Polito’s Pizza still uses “Philly’s” secret family recipe along with the best Italian meats and cheeses available on the market. Our pride in creating the best pizza possible gives Polito’s that authentic Old World taste with a New World twist that’s sure to please.
